Rookie joined by 10 others in comprising CS360 Primetime Performers Honor Roll for week of Sept. 24-30.

University of Utah first-year goalkeeper Lindsey Luke (Corona Del Mar, Calif.).) – who stopped 17 of 18 shots on frame spanning wins against two of the Pac-12's top teams – leads the way in receiving the top honor among the week-7 CS360 Primetime Performers of the Week for Division I women's soccer, as selected by CollegeSoccer360.com (11 total honorees, listed below). Luke is the CS360 National Primetime Player of the Week for Sept. 24-30 and is joined by 10 others in forming the Primetime Performers Weekly Honor Roll for the seventh week of the 2012 season.

Luke earlier was part of the CS360 Primetime Honor Roll following the second week of the 2012 season, after playing a lead role in Utah's win over in-state rival BYU (still the only loss all season for the Cougars, now 11-1 and sixth in the last week's update of the CS360 Composite National Rankings). In action this past weekend while facing a pair of northwestern-based conference foes, Luke rose to the occasion while helping the Utes beat cs360 #42 Washington State in overtime (2-1) before shutting out (29) Washington, 2-0. Over the course of nearly 190 minutes of game action, the Wake Forest transfer navigated her way though 39 total opponent shots and eight corner kicks while racking up the 17 pressure-packed saves.

In the tense game vs. WSU, Luke offset an absence of goal production from her teammates by shutting out the Cougars until late in regulation, with a thru-ball sequence giving the visitors an 82nd-minute lead. Utah's offense ultimately awoke in time, with Harley Spier's 89th-minute goal forcing OT. Luke had a rare double-digit save game (10) vs. Washington State, while dealing with 23 total shots and four corners. Two days later, her seven-save shutout versus Washington included several highlight-reel plays (16 shots, 4 CKs).

The weekend sweep could go a long way in helping Utah reach the 2012 NCAA tournament, as the Cougars and Huskies had established themselves among the top half of the challenging Pac-12.

Headshots of all 11 honorees are included in the right-sidebar, with action photos and player info. to be added below later in the week.

... Selection for the Division I women's CS360 weekly awards is based on any/all of the following "primetime" criteria (i.e. not solely based on raw stats):

• Performed at a high level in a game that is key to the team's postseason achievements, typically in a game involving a top-50 team from the CS360 Composite National Rankings (or in a game involving a conference favorite from a league not represented in the CS360 top-50).

• In general, preference is given based on the quality of the opponent, contribution to team success and other situational factors involved in the player's accomplishments.

• Exhibited strong leadership and/or involved in clutch performances, such as gamewinning goals, noteworthy comebacks, late scores, momentum-shifting play, all-around performance, team spirit, etc.

• Overcame adversity or extreme circumstances (for the team and/or individual).

• Bonus consideration is given for key performances away from team's home field and/or against a traditional rival.
